Privacy Policy
Your data is yours. Full stop.
Last updated: 15 April 2026
tupi.solutions Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every person who interacts with our services. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and — most importantly — what we will never do with it without your say-so.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party without your prior, explicit consent. If a situation arises where sharing your details with a specific third party would be beneficial, we will contact you first, name the third party, explain why, and only proceed if you give us clear permission — each and every time.
01 Who we are
tupi.solutions Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We build software for interpreting agencies, language service providers, and freelance interpreters. Our registered contact email is hello@tupi.solutions.
For the purposes of data-protection law (including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), tupi.solutions Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
02 What data we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. At this stage we collect only:
- Email address — provided voluntarily when you sign up to be notified about our launch.
- Basic analytics data — anonymised information such as page-view counts, browser type, and approximate geographic region, collected through standard web technologies to help us understand how visitors use our site.
We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or any special-category data unless you explicitly provide them to us at a later date in the context of using our products.
03 How we use your data
The personal data you provide is used solely for the following purposes:
- To send you our launch announcement and, if you opt in, occasional product updates.
- To respond to enquiries you send to hello@tupi.solutions.
- To improve our website and future products based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
We will never use your email address to send unsolicited marketing from third parties, nor will we contact you for purposes unrelated to tupi.solutions without obtaining your consent first.
04 Third-party sharing — our guarantee
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes — ever — unless every single one of the following conditions is met:
- We contact you first. Before any of your information is shared, we will reach out to you directly using the contact details you provided.
- We name the third party. You will be told exactly who the third party is, not a vague category such as "our partners".
- We explain the purpose. We will clearly describe why the third party is requesting or would receive your data and what they intend to do with it.
- We obtain your explicit consent. Only after you give us clear, affirmative permission — specific to that third party and that purpose — will we proceed. Silence or inaction is never treated as consent.
- Each request is separate. Consent granted for one third party does not carry over to another. If a different third party is involved, we start the process again from scratch.
The only exceptions to the above are where we are required by law to disclose information (for example, in response to a court order or a binding request from a regulatory authority). In such cases, we will inform you as soon as we are legally permitted to do so.
05 Service providers
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate our infrastructure (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery). These providers process data strictly on our behalf, under our instructions, and are bound by contractual obligations to keep your data secure and confidential. They do not have permission to use your data for their own purposes. Our current infrastructure providers include:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting, content delivery, and email delivery.
Service providers acting as data processors on our behalf are not considered "third-party sharing" under this policy, because they do not use your data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
06 Data retention
We keep your email address for as long as it is needed for the purpose you provided it — for example, until we have sent the launch announcement and any updates you opted into. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so promptly and confirm the deletion in writing.
07 Your rights
Under UK data-protection law, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
- Objection — object to our processing of your data.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@tupi.solutions. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
08 Cookies
Our website currently uses only essential, first-party cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and seek your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
09 Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored within secure cloud infrastructure.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes — particularly to how we handle third-party sharing — we will notify you via the email address you provided before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
